Fieldtrip to see the Bathonian limestones of the Paris Basin!

Another great fieldtrip organised by Benoit, with a nice team of happy and friendly geologists from Foxtrot International and Heling in the quarries of the Bathonian limestones of the Paris Basin!
Good moments despite foggy mornings (but great sunny afternoons!), investigating the complex internal architectures of ooid shoals, and lateral changes towards other belts. All complemented by subsurface data (geophysics, petrophysics) from the same limestones towards the center of the Basin!
