Fieldtrip to see the carbonate formations of Provence, SE France!

Benoit had a fantastic 4 days of field trip in the Barremian-Aptian, Urgonian, carbonate formations of Provence, SE France!
This is not only an excellent analogue for the Middle East fields, and a great team of 10 entusiastic geologists from Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V benefited from these world class outcrops.
A great and warm thanks to philippe leonide for infusing his passion for this area and carbonates in general into the group, presenting results of decades of research on these series.
And on top of all, a summer weather extending in mid September!
