ASF meeting in Lille

Last week, Benoit attended the ASF Meeting in Lille, co-organizing a session “Basins and Georesources” with Benjamin Brigaud and Justine BRIAIS. A big thanks to both of you for this truly enjoyable joint work.
This session was a great success, and allowed showing and discussing the strong societal implications that our discipline can and should have, outside the more classic and mature field of hydrocarbons. Sedimentology in the broad sense is of primary importance for a better understanding of He, H resources, for geothermal energy, for waste storage, CCS.
Thank you to the entire Lille team for organizing this conference in this beautiful city. A success!
